A MOUNTAIN CITY MAN IS FACING NUMEROUS CHARGES AFTER HE ALLEGEDLY ASSAULTED A POLICE OFFICER.u00a0 MATTHEW OSBORNE WAS ARRESTED AFTER E-M-S CALLED POLICE ABOUT A SUSPICIOUS PERSON IN THE AREA OF HIGHWAY 421 NORTH.u00a0 OSBORNE RAN IN FRONT OF A POLICE CAR AND THEN HID UNDER A TRACTOR-TRAILER.u00a0 OFFICERS SAY HE TOLD THEM HE WAS JUST PLAYING AROUND AND WAS ON HIS WAY TO WORK.u00a0 HE WAS FOUND WITH METH, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA AND HE HAD PILLS WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION. u00a0HEu2019S ACCUSED OF ASSAULTING AN OFFICER AT THE JOHNSON COUNTY JAIL.
