Play at the Scottish Open resumed Saturday after a delay of nearly 2 1/2 hours due to heavy fog.
The third round had started and 17 players were on the course as the fog worsened, forcing the suspension at 10:45 a.m. local time (5:45 a.m. ET). Play resumed at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland, at 1:10 p.m. local time.
The first of trio of leaders tied at 9-under will tee off at 6:04 p.m. (1:04 p.m. ET) when Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy takes to the course with Englishman Matt Fitzpatrick (8-under).
The other leaders, England’s Jordan Smith and Tom Kim of South Korea, are scheduled to tee off at 6:15 p.m. local time.
